Facts and Symptoms of Parkinson’s Disease

February 25, 2019 by MorningStar Senior Living in Senior Living

It is estimated that more than 10 million people worldwide have Parkinson’s disease.  In the U.S. alone, nearly one million people will be living with the disease by 2020 and as many as 60,000 new cases are diagnosed each year.  While there is not a cure for the disease, there is treatment; however anyone with symptoms needs to have a medical diagnosis in order to rule out other causes.

The Mayo Clinic’s website provides a list of some of the most common symptoms of Parkinson’s.  The first sign can be a tremor that affects one hand and a person may frequently exhibit a back-and-forth rubbing motion of the thumb and forefinger known as a pill-rolling tremor.  Tremors usually occur while the individual is at rest, and can affect the hands, limbs, and posture.

Another common sign of the disease is slowed movement known as bradykinesia. This can worsen over time and eventually affect a person’s ability to walk well or have trouble getting up out of a chair.  In some cases one foot may drag, making walking even more challenging.

Other symptoms of the disease include rigid muscles and stiffness within any part of the body, and impaired posture and balance that may cause a person to become stooped or lead to falls.  The disease can also cause a loss of automatic movements such as blinking, smiling or swinging your arms as you walk.  In addition many people experience changes in their speech such as speaking in a monotone or more softly, more quickly or with a slur.

Finally many people suffering from Parkinson’s have problems writing.  Often their writing becomes smaller and it is more difficult to do because of the tremors.

This post is intended for informational purposes only.  Please contact your health care provider with any questions or concerns you have regarding your health.

The unique mission statement of MorningStar at RidgeGate, “to honor, to serve, to invest,” sets us apart from other senior living communities.  Our foundation is built upon honoring God, valuing all seniors, and investing in staff with a felt calling to serve.  Dedicated to creating a real home for residents within a beautiful setting, we encourage you to learn more about our exceptional community.

February 25, 2019 by MorningStar Senior Living in Senior Living

Also we have proudly created an enviroment that motivates team members to use their special talents to serve residents and provide the tools they need to contribute to our mission.  Each team member is encouraged to build loving friendships with our residents and to treat them as grandparents.

So while our dedicated housekeeping team takes pride in maintaining a spotless home for our residents, they are also encouraged to listen to the many stories and memories residents’ want to share while their suites are being cleaned.  Housekeepers feel good knowing they have done a good job - and feel even better when the residents tell them how much they appreciate their hard work.  The same goes for our dining room servers and other team members who are encouraged to take the time to build caring relationships with our residents and to help create a family environment.

In addition to our dining room servers and housekeeping jobs, our Denver communities have openings for Care Managers and other assisted living jobs.  Please visit our website for details on how to apply.

Strong Social Connections are Beneficial for Any Age

February 25, 2019 by MorningStar Senior Living in Senior Living

Studies show that socialization is a key component to a senior’s overall health and can help to reduce stress and anxiety and maintain cognitive health as well as improve longevity. Conversely older adults who are isolated have been found to be more at risk for a range of health problems including cardiovascular disease and depression.

Researchers also found that the more social a person is the more likely they are to exercise on a regular basis. This is important as older adults are susceptible to a number of health conditions, including osteoporosis, heart trouble, cancer and chronic illnesses that can benefit from exercise. In addition daily exercise can prevent muscles and bones from deteriorating in old age. A good way for older adults to exercise is at a community class designed for seniors as you have the opportunity to socialize and to stay motivated.

Senior retirement homes such as MorningStar Assisted Living & Memory Care of Boulder provide seniors a healthy lifestyle designed around comfort, wellness and community. Our mission is to care for residents’ physical, emotional, spiritual and wellness needs within a loving, secure setting. We also have fun celebrating holidays and hosting special events and outings.

How to Make the Most of Your Next Doctor Appointment

February 25, 2019 by MorningStar Senior Living in Senior Living

Dr. Danielle Ofri, author and associate professor of medicine at New York University, recently wrote an in-depth article for the New York Times detailing the strategies seniors can use to get more out of their next doctor appointment. She starts by explaining that you should take a few minutes to figure out what you want to get out of the appointment. Ask yourself if this is just a well visit or do you have something specific you want to discuss with the doctor such as a new symptom or problem. It might be you wish to discuss changes in your diet or lifestyle or to bring up topics such as end-of-life preference?

Dr. Ofri stresses that quality is better than quantity and being focused on a couple of things you hope to accomplish from the appointment will probably result in more specific answers. Also scheduling regular appointments will give you the time to concentrate on your various needs.

To ensure your doctor has the information he or she needs, write down all the medications and dosages you are taking beforehand, including any herbal supplements and vitamins. If it is easier, bring all your pill bottles so the staff can go through your medications and daily dosages. Remember your insurance information, and if it is a new doctor, bring along your health records.

Another important part of a successful doctor visit is communication. Always keep in mind you are your own best advocate and want to make sure you are clearly heard. Experts suggest you keep track of the time to make sure your primary concerns are covered. Furthermore do not bring up new problems right at the end of the visit but rather schedule a new appointment to discuss those issues. Most importantly the experts say to not leave the office until you completely understand your treatment plan. If you need, ask one of the nurses to go over the doctor’s instructions with you. After you leave, go over everything that occurred during the visit including treatment plans and recommendations for any follow-up appointments and write down anything you may forget.

MorningStar of Boulder is proud to be one of area’s finest assisted living communities. Our residents’ health is our first priority and we provide all of the amenities and services required to accomplish this. Please visit our website to learn more.

A Culture of Love & Respect

February 24, 2019 by MorningStar Senior Living in Senior Living

As every aspect of our communities are designed to promote an atmosphere where both residents and staff thrive; MorningStar Senior Living’s mission statement right from the start was to “Invest generously in our team’s ability to serve well.”  Each MorningStar employee is provided training that helps them understand, articulate and contribute to our extraordinary culture.

Since all of our communities provide memory care, one of the things we do is to teach team members more about Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.  Our proprietary program is designed to empower and equip you to help us usher in a more insightful and intentional way to support the memory–impaired and their family.

Also our Radiance Service Excellence initiative training provides the framework for how we dispense service to residents.  As a team member, you are given the tools to advance the principles of Radiance with affirmations iterated each day during our Daily Huddle such as “I build strong, respectful relationships with seniors, their families and my fellow team members.”

By striving to build warm, genuine connections with each other and those we serve, MorningStar’s goal is to cast a new light and to be a beacon of decency, good manners and polite conversations.  Employees are encouraged to work as a team and to regularly ask fellow team members if they need help as well as to share the best ways to work well with certain residents.  Another way we inspire professional and personal grow is to have team members mentor others and learn to collaborate and listen well; and we promote from within whenever possible.

Please visit MorningStar Senior Living’s website for more information regarding Denver Assisted Living Jobs.  From Care Managers, Reflections Coordinators, Medication Care Managers/QMAP to dining room servers, dishwashers, housekeepers, and more, MorningStar’s Denver area communities offer the opportunity to make a difference in seniors’ lives and give you the chance to grow professionally and personally.

Loneliness Can Impact Health and Wellbeing

February 24, 2019 by MorningStar Senior Living in Senior Living

A study from the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) found that loneliness in aging adults can impact their health and wellbeing and be responsible for accelerating seniors’ decline and death.  They cite that “people 60-years-old and older who reported feeling lonely saw a 45 percent increase in their risk for death.  Isolated elders also had a 59 percent greater risk of mental and physical decline than their more social counterparts.”

The U.S. Census Bureau reports that 28 percent of people 65 years and older (11 million at the time of the census) lived alone.  In addition to living alone, there are several reasons seniors feel lonesome including losing a spouse.   Furthermore, the AARP reports that more and more seniors do not have children, which means fewer family members available to provide companionship and care.  As many elderly people stop driving, they may not have a convenient way to get around and this can contribute to more feelings of isolation.

Researchers also discovered that isolated seniors often behave in ways that make others less likely to want to spend time with them.  Not only do the seniors resist the efforts of those who want to reach out but actually push them away.

If you have an elderly parent or know someone who is living alone, there are some easy things you can do to make them feel cared about.  One way is to really engage them in conversation and ask questions and listen to their stories about the past.  Another thing you can do is to help them find a hobby they will enjoy or rekindle an interest in something they used to do.   If you live a distance from an elderly parent, call frequently and send greeting cards or small gifts that let them know you are thinking of them.

Senior living communities such as MorningStar at Jordan provide assisted living and memory care for older adults as well as an ideal place to socialize and form bonds with both residents and staff.  We offer seniors a lifestyle that provides all the comforts of a real home.  Please visit our website to learn more.

Senior Living Communities Offer Both Privacy and Community

February 23, 2019 by MorningStar Senior Living in Senior Living

For many elderly adults, the thought of moving from their home is overwhelming.  However the truth is that today there are many excellent options for seniors specifically designed to enable them to keep their independence.  One example is senior living communities that offer a range of care options to meet the individual needs of all their residents.

The goal of senior communities is to give aging adults the opportunity to maintain their independence while providing convenient access to assistance, activities and companionship.  All too often, seniors mistakenly think that moving into a community setting means they have to give up their privacy.  Again, this could not be further from the truth as communities like MorningStar at RidgeGate offer a choice of spacious private suites (penthouses as large as 1838 sq. ft.) for independent living, assisted living or memory care.

Another issue older adults worry about when moving into senior living is that they will be leaving their families.  The fact is senior living communities offer their own sense of comfort with 24/7 security and care.  So if you need help in the middle of the night, someone is there to respond quickly.

Seniors also cite the fact that they think moving to a senior living community will mean they have to give up the things they liked doing around their home such as gardening and having a backyard to enjoy the outdoors.  The truth is that living in a community probably means you will be busier than when you lived alone.  Senior communities are designed with an array of activities such as gardening and book clubs, fitness rooms, outdoor patios and strolling paths, game rooms, theaters and much more.

To see one of the finest examples of senior living, we encourage you to take a look at MorningStar at RidgeGate’s website or contact us for a visit.  We are conveniently situated in the heart of Lone Tree, near shopping centers, entertainment venues and the medical community, offering every possible neighborhood amenity to our residents.

The unique mission statement of MorningStar at RidgeGate, “to honor, to serve, to invest,” sets us apart from other senior living communities.  Our foundation is built upon honoring God, valuing all seniors, and investing in staff with a felt calling to serve.  Dedicated to creating a real home for residents within a beautiful setting, we encourage you to learn more about the finest senior independent and assisted living in Lone Tree CO.

Do You Consider Seniors to be Heroes?

February 23, 2019 by MorningStar Senior Living in Senior Living

Did your grandparents or an elderly friend or neighbor take a special interest in your upbringing?  Have you been positively influenced and shaped by an older person in your life?  Do you appreciate the many contributions the elderly have made to the community and the world at large?  Would you like a chance to help make sure seniors are treated with the respect and dignity they deserve?  If you answered “yes,” you may be the kind of person who can help Denver’s MorningStar Senior Living communities carry out our mission.

We consider it a privilege and a responsibility to “cast a new light on senior living” through these foundational principles: Honoring God in our business practices with a commitment to strong moral values, ethics and relationships.  To value all seniors as gifted and contributing individuals with a commitment to creating a community that promotes a healthy, engaged lifestyle, while providing security and independence.  In addition we are committed to hiring and retaining employees who would like to use their creativity and compassionate hearts to serving our residents.

Working in one of our assisted living jobs gives individuals the chance to join our loving MorningStar “family,” and to build enduring relationships with other team members as well as our residents.  We also recognize our team is the very heartbeat of our brand, particularly our front-line service staff, and as such, we seek nothing less than exceptional individuals with a felt calling to serve seniors. Furthermore we are intentional and articulate about the kind of culture we want to build – one that allows you to thrive personally and professionally.  Please visit our website’s Careers page for more information.

Dealing with an Alzheimer’s Disease Diagnoses

February 23, 2019 by MorningStar Senior Living in Senior Living

If you have recently been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, you are not alone.  It is estimated that 5.7 million Americans have Alzheimer's, and every 65 seconds someone in the US develops the disease.  As a way to help families impacted by the disease, the Alzheimer’s Association provides a variety of resources and services.

A diagnosis of Alzheimer’s brings with it a range of emotions. Learning that you have a disease with no cure and no way to control what is happening to you can create feelings of anger, denial, depression and resentment as well as fear.  Another common emotion is isolation and the feeling that no one else understands what you are going through.  There can even be a sense of relief at finding out what is happening to you and having those concerns validated.

The Alzheimer’s Association counsels that it helps to try and come to terms with your diagnosis and the emotions you are experiencing as a way to help you to move forward.  They explain that, “once you make the commitment to take care of your emotional needs; you may find that you can rise to the challenge and face your diagnosis.”

You will find helpful coping tips on their website to make it easier to deal with what you are going through.  One of their most important suggestions is to have good support whether it comes from joining a support group, sharing concerns with family and friends, or talking to a counselor or member of the clergy.  They also say to continue to do the activities you enjoy for as long as you are able.  Finally they remind individuals to take time to “feel sad, mourn and grieve.”

MorningStar at Jordan’s philosophy and approach to memory care includes our guiding principle that: whatever the extent of the memory loss, whatever the form of dementia, a person’s essence remains.  We feel it our calling as well as our privilege to find ways to connect with and nurture that essence.

Our holistic approach to memory care provides an atmosphere of safety and well-being, while at the same time, encourages and supports choice and independence whenever possible.  Our residents participate in daily recreational and purposeful activities that include life skills, art, music, and exercise and are included in special events and scheduled outings.

MorningStar of Jordan’s Leadership Team Feels Honored to Serve Seniors

February 22, 2019 by MorningStar Senior Living in Senior Living

While MorningStar at Jordan was specifically designed to accommodate the needs of its residents, the heart of our community is our caring staff.   Right from the leadership down, our team is comprised of people who feel honored to be able to serve seniors and to help make their lives more comfortable and enjoyable.

As MorningStar at Jordan’s Executive Director, Laura Robbins puts it, “My maternal grandmother, Christine, was the first senior I ever loved.  I so enjoyed her annual visits from Alabama to our Texas home. She set me on the career path I’ve enjoyed for over 20 years. Today I’m as committed as ever to serving our amazing seniors. Even on their hardest days, they offer endearing hugs and heartfelt gratitude.”  Laura finds it a great privilege to work with a team who wants to make a difference in residents’ lives on a daily basis. Before coming to Jordan she had a career in the senior living industry as a Licensed Social Worker.

The Jordan commuity is also pleased to have the steady and loving leadership of our Director of Community Relations, Jan Peterson.  She feels blessed to have had the opportunity to help her own Mother though her journey of aging and ill health.  “Throughout, I discovered the importance of senior advocacy—for ALL seniors to have a voice…be heard…understood…extended the right to live with respect and dignity.” This experience created a foundation for Jan to extend caring and compassionate support to MorningStar residents and their families.

Rounding out our team is Michelle Johnson, Wellness Director.  Michelle is happy to be part of a team that makes a difference, even in the small things.  She brings to MorningStar wonderful memories of her Grandma and a love for all seniors.  “The times I share with all seniors are adventures, for they present me with such different eras and ways of thinking. I love hearing their love stories, how long they were married, through thick and thin, a level of commitment that younger generations can learn from.”

Please contact us to learn more about our exceptional community.

Sundowner’s Syndrome and Sleep Disturbances

February 21, 2019 by MorningStar Senior Living

The Alzheimer’s Association reports on studies that show “as many as 20 percent of persons with Alzheimer's will experience increased confusion, anxiety and agitation beginning late in the day. Others may experience changes in their sleep schedule and restlessness during the night.”  This condition is often referred to as sundowning or sundowner’s syndrome.

In addition to the anxiety and agitation, other symptoms for the syndrome include anger, depression, pacing, fear, restlessness, hallucinations, paranoia, wandering and violence.  The cause of sundowning is not known but researchers speculate that the condition may be triggered by a number of factors such as fatigue or an overreaction to the day’s sensory stimulation.  Some think that sundowning could be the result of anxiety caused by the inability to see well in the dark.  Another reason may be hormonal imbalances that occur at night.  Also because people with sundowner’s symptoms experience a disruption in their sleep-cycles, that can create more behavioral problems.

The Alzheimer’s Association advises that any sleep disturbances should be discussed with a doctor but experts do offer some helpful tips to cope with sundowner’s syndrome.  One of the suggestions is to keep the home well-lit during the evening hours.  They also recommend scheduled meal times and bedtimes.  If the person needs a nap, it should be taken early in the day.  Furthermore, doctor appointments and other activities should be scheduled for the morning or early afternoon as it allows for plenty of downtime before evening.

Furthermore, the person’s biggest meal should be at lunch and only a light dinner.  It is important to avoid nicotine and alcohol, and any caffeine consumption should be restricted to morning hours.  At night, help keep the person safe by providing nightlights and make sure doors are windows are locked.  If wandering is a big part of their sundowning behaviors, use door sensors and motion detectors.

If you are considering a memory care facility for a loved one, we encourage you to visit MorningStar at Jordan’s website to learn more about our compassionate, individualized care for seniors with mild to advanced stages of Alzheimer’s and other dementia-related diseases.

This post is intended for informational purposes only.  Please contact your health care provider with any questions or concerns you have regarding your health.

A “Tree of Life” Symbolizes Our Commitment to Residents & Staff

February 18, 2019 by MorningStar Senior Living

MorningStar Senior Living’s Denver communities are a part of the larger MorningStar Senior Living Company that has communities throughout the Western U.S.  In Denver our communities include: MorningStar of Arvada; MorningStar at Jordan; MorningStar of Littleton; MorningStar at RidgeGate; MorningStar of Wheat Ridge; and Parker Senior Living by MorningStar.  We have a unique mission statement that includes honoring God in all of our business practices and our relationships, which transcends to a superior quality of life for our MorningStar’s residents.  As such, we seek like-minded individuals who feel privileged to serve and want to help strengthen our reimagined vision of senior living.

To symbolize our three separate mission statements, we commissioned a painting we call the Tree of Life, a phrase most notable referenced in Genesis and Revelation.  The painting is done as a “triptych,” which is one picture depicted across three separate panels.

The tree and its root are symbolic of Jesus as he said in Revelation 22:16, “I am the Root and the Offspring of David and the Bright Morning Star.  The mature, majestic tree symbolizes the long life of a senior, and the fruit it produces is due to it being deeply rooted and reaching up to the light.  The rough, textured bark reminds us of a senior’s work-worn hands and the mountains in the background represent MorningStar’s Colorado beginnings.  Our Tree of Life picture is displayed in all of our senior living communities and you should make a point to see it when you visit.

Our loving Denver area communities have a Christian foundation built upon honoring God and valuing all seniors and are currently recruiting individuals with a felt calling to serve seniors.  Please visit our website to see our complete list of assisted living jobs and our convenient online application.  Remember, “Whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.” — 1 Corinthians 10:31.

At MorningStar Senior Living, our unique mission statement: “to honor, to serve, to invest,” sets us apart from other senior living communities.  We are committed to a foundation built upon honoring God and valuing all seniors, and are currently recruiting staff with a felt calling to serve seniors.  For a rewarding career, visit MorningStar’s website for information on assisted living jobs in Denver.

Eye Health Information for Older Adults

February 16, 2019 by MorningStar Senior Living

The American Academy of Ophthalmology recommends that adults with no signs or risk factors for eye disease should receive a baseline comprehensive eye evaluation at age 40. Individuals without risk factors aged 40 to 54 should be examined by an ophthalmologist every 2 to 4 years.  Individuals without risk factors aged 55 to 64 should be examined by an ophthalmologist every 1 to 3 years. They add that seniors 65 years and older without risk factors should be examined by an ophthalmologist every 1 to 2 years as the incidence of unrecognized ocular disease increases with age.

Since many age-related eye problems do not exhibit early symptoms, getting regular eye exams and being aware of any changes to your vision is critical.  In addition, it is important to remember that other health problems such as diabetes and hypertension as well as some other risk factors can cause eye-related issues.

Your exam should include a check of your vision, coordination of eye muscles, peripheral vision, pupil response to light and color testing.  Also the doctor will examine your eyelid inside and out along with the interior and back of the eye.  A measurement of your eye fluid pressure will also be done that consists of a puff of air onto the eye with an instrument called a tonometer.   This is used to check for glaucoma and other diseases.

Furthermore, you may be monitored for Age-Related Macular Degeneration (AMD) disease.  This test includes trying to detect and monitor conditions affecting the macula by examining the back of your eye using special instruments.  If you do not already have an eye doctor, see your health care provider for a referral.

If you are in the beginning stages of looking for an independent or assisted living home in and around Lone Tree, we recommend taking a look at MorningStar at RidgeGate.  Our community has 124 bright suites for independent living, another 71 for assisted living, and 29 secure suites devoted to the care of those with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.

One good way to get to know our community is through our website where you will find lots of information regarding our amenities and services as well as information and floor plans of our suites.  Furthermore, the MorningStar Senior Living Company, which encompasses over 30 communities in ten states under operation or in development, has lots of information about how our communities are run and what they offer.

One of the areas you will find especially informative is the “FAQ” section.  Here we go through a whole list of questions we have been asked in the past and provide families with answers.  Topics include why we are different, what we offer, and just what is independent living, assisted living and memory care.  We also provide help in determining if your loved one needs assisted living along with suggestions on how to begin the conversation on why it may be the time to start thinking about making a change in their living situation.

The FAQ page is also an easy way to see if you or your loved one meets our age requirement (for an IL, AL, or MC suite, you must be at least 62 years of age).  It also provides answers to questions regarding Companion Living, couples living together, respite stays, pets, and much more.  Additionally, while we provide answers as to how our fees are structured and how we determine the care you or your family member will receive in assisted living, we are more than happy to answer all of your questions personally.  Once you have looked over our website, we invite you to set up a tour of MorningStar at RidgeGate to see for yourself our beautiful, loving community.

Know the Risk Factors for Falls in the Elderly

February 12, 2019 by MorningStar Senior Living

We know that falls can be dangerous, and in fact, they are the leading cause of fatal and non-fatal injuries for older Americans.  The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) statistics state that one in four Americans age 65 years and older fall each year.  They report that, “every 11 seconds, an older adult is treated in the emergency room for a fall; every 19 minutes, an older adult dies from a fall.”

However, there are several risk factors that can be addressed that may help prevent falls.  The National Institute of Health (NIH) explains that it is not only chronic health conditions that lead to falls but also safety hazards within or around a senior’s home.

The NIH cites muscle weakness, especially in the legs, along with a lack of flexibility and endurance as a significant risk factor that puts seniors at risk for a fall.  Another factor increasing risk is an unsteady gait when walking as well as poor balance, which can be contributed to chronic health problems and lack of exercise.  In addition, older adults need to be sure to wear safe footwear and should avoid backless shoes or slippers, high-heeled shoes or shoes with smooth soles.

Furthermore, a condition known as postural hypotension (when blood pressure drops too quickly when getting up from a lying down or sitting position) can increase the risk of falling.  There are several chronic conditions such as Parkinson’s or diabetes as well as certain medications that can cause this to happen.  Also, vision problems, sensory difficulties, confusion and medications can lead to dizziness and unsteadiness, and result in a fall.

The NIH advises seniors to report any fall to their doctor as is may be a sign of a “new medical problem that needs attention, such as an infection or a cardiovascular disorder.”  It could also be a signal that your medication needs to be adjusted or changed.

When is Forgetfulness Not a Part of Natural Aging?

February 07, 2019 by MorningStar Senior Living

Forgetfulness is a natural part of aging; however, it is important to recognize the difference between normal forgetfulness and serious memory loss.  As we grow older, we may experience problems with things like finding our keys or glasses, remembering names or certain words, and taking longer to learn new things.  In most cases this is just mild forgetfulness, and there are things we can do to help sharpen our memory.

Experts recommend that activities such as taking a class, playing cards and word games, or volunteering can all help to improve mental acuity.  Also it may be helpful to use memory tools such as calendars and to-do-lists, and to eat well, get plenty of rest and limit your alcohol intake.  Tricks like always putting away your day-to-day items in a designated place can be helpful.  As depression along with some medications and health conditions can adversely affect memory, it is important to consult with your doctor if problems continue or worsen.

The Alzheimer’s Association advises that the type of memory loss that disrupts a person’s everyday life is not normal.  From their list of ten signs of Alzheimer’s disease, they state that one of the first sign of Alzheimer’s is trouble remembering newly learned information.

Further signs of serious memory problems involve difficulty with daily activities such as driving, shopping, and following conversations.  A person may start having trouble following directions; be confused about time, people, and places; and become lost in familiar places.  Other signs include changes in personal hygiene and attire as well as not eating well.

If you have questions regarding these and the other warning signs found on the Alzheimer’s Association website, they advise consulting your physician.  They state that, “early diagnosis provides the best opportunities for treatment, support and future planning.”

If you are considering a memory care facility for a loved one, we encourage you to visit MorningStar at Jordan’s website to learn more about our loving community.
