How Common Are Drug Recalls?

July 24, 2024 by MorningStar Senior Living in Assisted Living

We all applaud the numerous life-saving medications that help many people enjoy a higher quality of life than they may have experienced without these wonder drugs. In the US, the FDA is in charge of approving the medications that come to market in our country and ensuring they are safe and effective.

While each new prescription drug is carefully looked at by the experts at the FDA before it is granted approval, over the last ten years statistics show there were more than 14,000 drugs recalled. This adds up to an average of almost four recalls a day.

Experts say although the numbers sound alarming, in most cases, the FDA is aware of any side effects and risks the drug has before it is made available to the public. According to an article from the Harvard Medical School, there are several explanations as to why things are missed after approval, and a drug is deemed unsafe and recalled.

The most likely reason is drug clinical trials are typically done with at most a couple of thousand people. After a drug is widely used by tens of thousands, rare reactions may turn up. Secondly, clinical trial participants are generally healthy in order to produce better trial results. Once the general public is using the drug, it may not work like it did during trials. Problems can also crop up because people are using other medications as well.

Other complications resulting in a drug being recalled include poor manufacturing processes including bacterial contamination or problems with mislabeling and storage. In some cases, incidences of recalls are due to manufacturers adding additional ingredients that were never in the original medication.

Thankfully most recalls are not life-threatening or dangerous to the user. Only 6 percent of recalls are Class I. This is where the drug is deemed dangerous and poses a serious health risk. The majority of recalls fall into the Class II category where a drug may present a less serious health risk or a temporary one. Many times it is a matter of a drug being improperly stored such as a too hot location.

To safeguard yourself, you can sign up for texts or emails from the FDA regarding safety alerts and recalls on drugs. Additionally, pharmacists advise patients to carefully examine their new prescription for the correct color and broken or crumbling pills. Contact your healthcare provider if you have any concerns regarding your medications.

Choosing an Assisted Living Community

July 19, 2024 by MorningStar Senior Living in Assisted Living

Experts advise families to do their homework when helping mom or dad move into assisted living, as the more you know about senior living communities helps avoid sticker shock as well as an unhappy parent. The recommendation is to tour at least two potential communities in order to make an informed comparison.

Prices for assisted living typically are determined by the amount of senior care services the person requires. Many offer a tiered system of care to allow residents to safely age in place as health conditions change so remember to ask about how often care plans are evaluated. Other reasons costs can vary include room type, i.e. selecting a smaller or larger floorplan; as well as suite location, a scenic view or balcony.

Be sure to ask what services and activities are included in the basic cost of the community. You will want to know about upfront deposits, community and move-in fees. Additionally, ask about the procedure for moving out and what type of notice you need to give.

Han Hwang, executive VP of partner sales and success for Caring.com, an online resource for those caring for aging parents, spouses and other loved ones, says “it’s really important to know exactly what you’re getting and to do an apples-to-apples comparison” when choosing an assisted living community. Often monthly costs include a fee for room and board along with the level of care, medication management and any other ancillary services. To help you stay within budget, Hwang say to anticipate services you may need over the next 12 to 24 months.

At MorningStar at Jordan, our community is designed from the ground up to meet the needs of residents with a range of luxury amenities, senior care, hospitality services, wellness programs, and activities. Our beautiful home offers assisted living suites with a choice of spacious studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom floorplans. In addition, our Reflections Neighborhood has suites devoted to those with Alzheimer’s and other dementia-related diseases. Add Protein to Breakfast to Keep Energy and Blood Sugar Levels Stable

July 17, 2024 by MorningStar Senior Living in Senior Living

How many times have you eaten breakfast, and after an hour or two, you start to feel hungry? Many breakfast options involve foods such as cereals, breads and granola bars that are high in refined grains and sugar. To solve the problem, nutritionists say you should add protein to every meal including your breakfast.

“Making sure you eat protein with breakfast – and making sure you eat breakfast in general – can give you the nourishment and energy you need to take on the day, says Amity Lui, a sports dietitian at Worksite Wellness Nutrition in New York City.”  Lui explains eating regularly throughout the day will make it easier to meet your protein needs and keep energy and blood sugar levels stable.  Lui recommends “aiming for about 15 to 20 grams – or more – protein per meal, or 10 to 15 grams per snack. Exact amounts depend on age, activity level and gender.”

One suggestion for an easy-to-do, protein-rich breakfast is avocado and fried egg on a bagel or enriched whole-grain slice of toast. Omelets are also fairly easy and can be assembled with a variety of fillings such as mushrooms, spinach and bacon. You can increase the protein in a bowl of oatmeal by adding a scoop of protein powder and topping it with almond milk and berries. Try other creative options such as smoked salmon on a toasted whole wheat English muffin spread with cream cheese, or a Greek yogurt parfait layered with granola, nuts, and fruit.  Nutritionists say another incentive for eating protein in the morning is it may help you lose weight as you feel more satisfied for a longer period.

Symptoms of Alzheimer’s Disease Can Be Both Mental and Physical

July 15, 2024 by MorningStar Senior Living in Assisted Living

Along with changes in the person’s memory and cognitive abilities, Alzheimer’s disease affects a person’s physical abilities. Experts explain dementia symptoms can change everything from the way a person walks, talks, and how their body works. Normal body functions such as going to the bathroom, carrying on a conversation and maintaining balance become more and more difficult.

While unfortunately we do not yet know the cause of Alzheimer’s disease, doctors suspect the symptoms are caused by a buildup of harmful proteins in the brain called amyloid and tau, which create clumps called tangles and plaque. These clumps get in the way of normal brain functions and kill healthy cells.

Changes caused by Alzheimer’s disease include loss of balance and coordination, which puts a person at a higher risk of a fall. A person’s feet may shuffle or drag along as they walk. Another symptom includes weakened muscles and fatigue that makes it difficult to stand or sit upright in a chair. Trouble controlling the bladder and bowels as well as seizures and twitches are other common symptoms.

While some people experience a slower pace of the disease and live up to 20 years after a diagnosis, the average life expectancy is 4 to 8 years. The most common cause of death in a person with Alzheimer’s is pneumonia, another infection, or a heart attack.

In addition to assisted living, MorningStar at Jordan in Centennial, CO offers compassionate, loving care to those with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia. Our unique approach to memory care is all-encompassing and provides an environment in which your loved one is given the support they need to make the most of each day. Communicating With a Loved One With Alzheimer's Disease

July 15, 2024 by MorningStar Senior Living in Memory Care

The Alzheimer’s Association has some effective tips for communicating with a loved one suffering from Alzheimer’s disease or another form of dementia.  As the ability to find the right words or to speak at all is one of the effects of the devastating disease, it is helpful to learn some tips to make the communication process easier.

Typically, in the early stages of the disease, individuals repeat themselves often and can easily lose their train of thought.  They may start to avoid speaking and have trouble following a conversation, and may even use gestures rather than words.  Experts suggest at this stage that you make sure to address the person directly, don’t speak through a caregiver, and allow them plenty of time to answer you back.

The middle stages of the disease can signal lots of changes and usually lasts the longest.  If you wish to speak with the individual, make sure to do it in a quiet space without any distractions.  Your questions should be short and only require a simple yes or no answer, and again, look directly at the person.  In addition, you can demonstrate the task or give clear, step-by-step instructions.  Also, use a soft voice and calm demeanor, and above all else, be patient and loving.

In the late stages of the disease, which can last from a few weeks to several years, the Alzheimer’s Association suggests using nonverbal forms of communication.  When entering the person’s presence, always identify yourself and use the sound of your voice to convey the meaning of your words.  Experts recommend using touch, sight, sound, smell and taste to communicate, and as always, treat the individual with respect and dignity.

Along with independent and assisted living, Highlands Ranch, CO area MorningStar at RidgeGate provides specialized memory care for those with Alzheimer’s and other dementia-related diseases.  Every aspect of our community is tailored to meet the needs of our special residents from purposeful activities to nutritional, easy-to-eat foods.  Please visit our website for more information about trusted memory care at MorningStar.

Increase Happiness by Practicing Gratitude

July 01, 2024 by MorningStar Senior Living in Senior Living

While studies find feeling grateful can make us happier and less anxious; like every skill, it does take some practice. An article at CNN.com explains gratitude should not be saved for special occasions, but like love, should be practiced or expressed regularly. With a little effort, you should be able to find something to be grateful for every day.

Experts share four ways to help you practice gratitude. The first is to create a gratitude album on your phone by taking a picture each day of things that bring you joy like a meaningful text, beautiful scenery, fun events on your calendar and pics of loved ones. Don’t worry about your photography skill. Now instead of scrolling through social media, use some of that time to look through your own gratitude album and appreciate the good things in your life.

Another gratitude practice is to take the time to breathe. Mindful breathing techniques can help relieve tension and reduce stress, and only take a few minutes. When doing, remember to be thankful for your breathing, which is a life-sustaining force. Combine breathing with feelings of gratitude and patience as you strive to feel relaxed and calm. The Internet offers several methods for practicing breathing techniques.

Expressing gratitude to someone each day by thanking them for their support and/or love are other ways to feel gratitude. Studies show it helps to build a better relationship between two people who routinely express or receive gratitude from their partner.

Lastly experts say end your day by feeling grateful. One practice is to think of three things you are grateful for and write them down in a notebook or piece of paper. They do not have to be big “things” but just something that makes you feel happy. When you wake in the morning, read over your three things and take a few moments to reflect on them.

At MorningStar of Boulder, our goal is to provide outstanding senior living; and we are committed to the comfort, wellbeing, and safety of our remarkable residents.  To accomplish this lofty goal, our approach considers every aspect of assisted living and memory care from the design of our beautiful community to a broad range of care services, amenities, and wellness programs.  Please contact us or visit our website for more information.

How Does Independent Living Differ From Assisted Living?

June 14, 2024 by MorningStar Senior Living in Independent Living

Have you been thinking it’s time for a change in your living arrangements and would love a more manageable, relaxed lifestyle?  If you have started looking into senior living options your next question may be “what is the difference between independent living and assisted living, and which one is best suited to my needs?”

Independent living is ideal for active seniors who no longer wish to maintain their own home and desire a more carefree lifestyle.  While each community can vary, many offer amenities such as social activities, wellness programs, day trips and meals.  It is also perfect for those who love the sound of predictable budgeting, community living and built-in companionship.  Care services are not provided but being a resident in an independent community may give you priority for a move into assisted living or memory care if the need should arise.

Assisted living is designed for seniors who need help with everyday activities in order to improve their quality of life and maintain their independence.  Communities will have an array of services such as housekeeping, laundry, transportation, daily meals, and 24-hour care.  Generally, a community assesses in-coming residents to determine the level of assistance needed that is agreeable to the senior and their extended family.  Other amenities offered by assisted living communities may include a range of activities and wellness programs.

At MorningStar at RidgeGate, you will discover senior living at it’s best.  Our community is designed to enhance the lives of our residents and provide a home where seniors can safely, and comfortably age in place.  Along with inviting common areas both inside and out, we offer a range of amenities and wellness programs to promote a healthy and engaged lifestyle. Our stylish apartments come in a variety of studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom floor plans, and we are pet friendly. Enjoy Healthy Fruits and Vegetables This Summer

June 12, 2024 by MorningStar Senior Living in Assisted Living

With summer finally here, so is a plentiful selection of fresh, garden grown fruits and vegetables in our supermarkets, farmer markets and produce stands. As dietitians recommend adults eat at least three servings of vegetables a day and two of fruit, summer’s yummy selection makes it easier and tastier to do. The US News & World Report published an article with a review of some of the five healthiest in-season fruits and vegetables to eat at mealtime or for snacks.

The first recommendation is cherries. Across the country you will find a delicious assortment including Bing and Van, and the Rainer, a premium cherry that is a cross between Bing and Van as well as both sweet and tart varieties. A cup of cherries (about 21) has 90 calories, three grams of fiber, and is a good source of potassium and vitamin C. “Cherries are also a great source of anthocyanins, which offer antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-cancer, cardiovascular and other benefits.” Research has found cherries can improve sleep and help relieve gout.

The next group of some of the season’s favorites is various garden fresh, leafy greens. These include lettuce, arugula, watercress, spinach, kale and romaine. Studies show leafy greens can help lessen the risk of heart disease, macular degeneration, cancer and other conditions. Not only do they taste good but are easy to add to a variety of foods.

Studies find strawberries are another superfood and provide a range of antioxidants, vitamin C, potassium and fiber. They are easy to eat as is or can be added to a variety of dishes.

Not only do summer tomatoes taste better but experts say the tomatoes we buy now are superior to tomatoes we buy during the rest of the year. They are a good source of vitamin C and lycopene, “a potent antioxidant that helps protect your eyesight, provides anti-cancer properties and heart health benefits.” The last food the article mentioned is watermelon, which is typically a requirement at any summertime gathering. Watermelon is a great way to rehydrate as it is 92% water; and like tomatoes, it too contains the beneficial lycopene.

At MorningStar Senior Living at RidgeGate, we believe that diet is the centerpiece of personal wellness. As a resident you will be treated to a variety of seasonal menus featuring the freshest ingredients from high quality producers, locally sourced whenever possible. We also use ingredients with high concentrations of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and anti-inflammatory compounds known to support brain health and aptly named “Super Foods.”  These include items like berries, Omega 3 fats, dark chocolate and greens. For unsurpassed independent or assisted living, Highlands Ranch, CO area seniors are encouraged to consider MorningStar, a true home with a lifestyle of comfort, wellness and community.

MorningStar takes tremendous pride in the reputation we have earned for excellence and authenticity since our inception in 2003.  We believe the human capacity to grow, to learn and to contribute is ageless; and we act upon that truth daily, as we care for, inspire, and love the residents under our roof. Adult Children Should Support Their Parents’ Independence

June 12, 2024 by MorningStar Senior Living in Assisted Living

We all understand the value of independence but as we grow older, many seniors are faced with physical and mental limitations that make them feel it may be threatened. Independence is one of the things seniors want to feel they still have control over; and is important as it is closely tied to self-worth and a sense of achievement.

Experts say well-intentional families can sometimes create bigger problems by becoming overprotective toward mom or dad. This can result in the senior becoming more fearful than the situation warrants, and erode their self-esteem and confidence. Another problem threatening a senior’s independence is when adult children talk to the parent as if they are a child. Even the most conscientious caregivers can sometimes baby the person too much or pressure them to do what they think is best.

Just as we do not want people telling us what to do or intruding into things we are not ready to share, you need to respect your parents’ privacy. When mom or dad’s wishes are respected, they will feel like they have more control of their lives. If a time comes when your parents need more help than they can get at home, it may be time to consider an assisted living community. Just be sure it is one where they will be respected and their independence will be nurtured.

What sets MorningStar Assisted Living & Memory Care at Jordan apart from other senior living communities? We strive to provide a true home for our residents and have a team committed to serving seniors who treat them with the dignity and respect they deserve.  Our beautiful community is designed to meet all the needs of our residents with a range of luxury amenities, senior care, hospitality services, wellness programs, and activities.  Please contact us for more information.

Do You Need a Multivitamin?

June 10, 2024 by MorningStar Senior Living in Assisted Living

As we age, it becomes more important than ever to protect our health but making decisions on how we do it can be confusing at best. One day it seems this diet is better than another and they have lots of initials such as DASH, MIND, TLC or KETO as well as Mediterranean, vegan, vegetarian and flexitarian diets. Adding to the challenge is whether we need a daily multivitamin.

While it is a good idea to get advice from your healthcare provider, it doesn’t hurt to hear what some other experts say. For example, the Harvard School of Public Health says if you eat a healthy diet, a multivitamin may have little or no benefit. A healthy diet should include plenty of vegetables, fruits, whole grains, good protein sources and healthy fats.

However, the National Academy of Medicine cautions some Americans may not be getting enough of specific vitamins and minerals such as vitamin D and vitamin E from food sources alone. Vitamin deficiency can also occur in people with diseases like celiac, ulcerative colitis, or cystic fibrosis, which cause their digestive systems to not function properly. Others who may benefit from the addition of specific vitamins include the elderly or conditions such as pregnancy, alcoholism and taking certain medications including treating high blood pressure.

Doctors say even those with diseases such as osteoporosis may only need to increase their intake of nutrients targeted toward maintaining bone health, or if that is not possible to take a supplement. If in doubt, ask your healthcare team if you should consult with a dietician. Remember to let your doctors know about any supplements you are taking in case of drug interactions with prescription medications.

Get the Care You Need at MorningStar of Boulder

June 07, 2024 by MorningStar Senior Living in Assisted Living

Families often wonder how assisted living communities such as MorningStar of Boulder determine the level of care for residents. We want to reassure you there is no need to worry mom or dad’s needs will not be addressed as our job includes creating and routinely re-evaluating residents’ individualized care plan designed for their wellbeing and safety.

Once you and your family decide MorningStar is the best fit, we invite you to meet with our Wellness Director to come up with a specialized care plan based on five levels of care – basic through level 4. Additionally, monthly fees are determined by the square footage and location of your suite within the building along with the view. We have a choice of studio, one-bedroom or two-bedroom floorplans.

Our care services consider the cost and time of providing each service, such as assistance with dressing and bathing. The result is a highly Individualized Service Plan that offers the right amount of assistance when you need it. Medication management is available with two price points based on the number and type of prescriptions involved. Other various auxiliary services, both medical and non-medical, are priced a la carte.

We believe wellness of mind, body and spirit is a joint effort between our remarkable residents and team members. Between clinical services and our life enrichment programs and activities, we work hard to be a breath of fresh air; and look for creative solutions that offer a higher quality of care at a lower cost to families. Working within the scope of our licensing with the Department of Health, we try to find creative solutions to extend the stay of our residents even as health conditions change.

Along with assisted living, our Reflections Neighborhood provides care to those with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia. All team members complete thorough training including our signature program, Lavender Sky, to help residents and their families navigate this challenging journey.  Please contact us or visit our website for more information.

MorningStar takes tremendous pride in the reputation we have earned for excellence and authenticity since our inception in 2003.  We believe the human capacity to grow, to learn and to contribute is ageless; and we act upon that truth daily, as we care for, inspire, and love the residents under our roof. Contact us for more information about one of the finest assisted living communities in Boulder.

MorningStar at Jordan Offers Experienced Memory Care

June 07, 2024 by MorningStar Senior Living in Memory Care

MorningStar at Jordan is proud to offer exceptional assisted living and memory care.  Our parent company, MorningStar Senior Living, operates senior living communities in eleven states.  This means MorningStar at Jordan benefits from the extensive knowledge and expertise our company has gained in their 20 years of operation regarding all facets of senior living, including a deep understanding of Alzheimer’s and other dementia-related diseases.

MorningStar has earned a reputation as trusted dementia care specialists, and we feel it is our calling to provide care to our most special residents.  By devoting a distinct area to memory care called the Reflections Neighborhood, residents are encouraged to be independent with clear wayfinding and inviting common areas.  To ensure our residents’ safety and well-being, services include daily health monitoring and around-the-clock staffing as well as secure courtyards to allow them to enjoy the outdoors.

Once a resident joins our MorningStar family, we meet with them and their family to get to know as much as we can about them including their history, vocation, talents, and preferences. From there we create a daily routine designed to stimulate or calm as a situation requires. Residents are also treated to tempting meals consisting of finger foods and family-style dining for a stress-free, companionable dining experience.

Our holistic approach to memory care is encompassed under the expanse of possibilities we call “Lavender Sky,” and is how we thoughtfully enter, embrace and explore the entirely different and isolating world of dementia.  Providing loving support for our residents, we enter with insight and intentionality as we step into their “purple world” and cross over the physical and emotional boundaries that would otherwise separate us.  We also feel it is our job to help support our residents’ families.  Along with education, we show them how to follow our lead and enter into the world of their loved ones.

We accept residents in the earliest stage of the disease right through to those in more advanced phases that require the highest level of care.  Furthermore, everything we do is in a loving environment that affirms the dignity and value of the individual.  For trusted senior living in Centennial, CO, visit our website or contact us for further information.

MorningStar is guided by a culture rooted in our mission of honoring God, valuing seniors, and investing in our team, which allows us to deliver services with warmth, sincerity and depth of purpose. A Move to Assisted Living Causes a Range of Emotions

June 05, 2024 by MorningStar Senior Living in Assisted Living

No matter how old we are, change can be difficult and the bigger the change, the more challenging. For the elderly, change can signal an end to a way of life they are most familiar with and cause a range of emotions from mourning a loss of independence to feelings of helplessness. Hopefully, it also offers a spark of excitement at starting a new adventure.

If you are an adult child of a senior who is in the process of transitioning into assisted living, experts offer tips to get through any rough patches. To make the move more successful, they recommended working as a team: the senior, the family, the new home and their doctor. As family members, it is important to recognize how intimidating the move can be in the eyes of your loved one as they are moving to a new environment with all new people. Experts say the adjustment period typically lasts for 30 to 90 days.

A senior can make it easier on themselves by keeping an open mind and realizing it will take a little while to adjust. Try to get out and enjoy your new environment rather than staying behind closed doors in your suite. If you are unsure how something works, ask questions. If you are having problems getting answers, talk to the management or ask your family to intervene.

Families can help the senior to set up their new apartment with familiar items and family memories including pictures and other favorite decor. Once they are settled, experts say don’t desert them but don’t overdo the visits. Allow them to find their own way and perhaps start making a few friends. If the community has family-friendly activities, join in when you can.

At MorningStar of Boulder, our goal is to meet residents’ physical, intellectual, spiritual and social needs. Along with luxury amenities and care services; our signature wellness programs and activities are designed to engage and encourage residents to live fully productive lives.  Please contact us or visit our website for more information about MorningStar’s assisted living in Boulder, CO.

As the Temperatures Rise - Remember to Stay Hydrated

May 22, 2024 by MorningStar Senior Living in Memory Care

With summer bringing hotter, steamier temperatures, it is a good time to remind everyone, and especially seniors, to protect themselves from dehydration, which happens when our bodies lose more fluid than it takes in. Dr. Samuel Keim, a professor and head of the department of emergency medicine at the University of Arizona, explains one of the reasons adults 70 and older are more at risk for dehydration is “a diminished thirst mechanism and a decreased ability to compensate for high-temperature environments.” He adds this means seniors are less likely to feel thirsty or realize they are becoming dehydrated.

Moreover, many seniors suffer from medical conditions such as respiratory ailments, diabetes, high blood pressure and heart disease exacerbating the problem. Also, medications like anticholinergics or antihistamines disrupt the body’s natural reflexes and reduce its heat tolerance causing a person to sweat less. Other problematic drugs include diuretic medications that increase the amount of water and salt expelled from the body as urine or beta blockers that interfere with the body’s natural response to becoming dehydrated.

Heat-exhaustion symptoms can include fatigue, thirst, profuse sweating, lightheadedness, cramps, nausea and weakness, and need to be addressed immediately as they can lead to heat stroke, which can be deadly. Treatment includes getting the person out of the heat into a cool location and removing heavy clothing. Spraying the person with water and directing a fan on them also helps. Seek emergency attention if the person is confused or fainting but continue to treat the person until help arrives.

The Many Benefits of Senior Communities

May 20, 2024 by MorningStar Senior Living in Assisted Living

As it turns out, many seniors are quite happy with their decision to move into an independent or assisted living community.  In part, that may be since many of today’s senior communities are loaded with numerous amenities and activities.   As a resident, you are provided with a lifestyle of comfort and community as well as a sense of safety and security.  Here are some of the many benefits:

  • When seniors move out of their family home into a senior community, they find themselves freed from lots of responsibilities.  Owning a home requires routine care and maintenance such as yard work and other housekeeping chores.

  • Seniors often live alone and experience feelings of loneliness and isolation.  Also, as people age, many are reluctant to drive, which means they end up spending a lot of time at home by themselves.  This is something that is not a problem in senior communities.  While activities are optional, there is generally something of interest for everyone.

  • For seniors who do not drive anymore, senior communities usually offer some form of transportation.  In addition, many routinely schedule day trips to activities such as plays, museums, shopping or other events.

  • We also know that many seniors who live alone do not eat well.  In some cases, grocery shopping and preparing food has become difficult.  Many senior communities make healthy, nutritious food a priority and offer choices such as low sodium, no sugar added etc.

  • As an assisted living resident, you will receive help with activities of daily living (ADLs) to provide a better quality of life. Around-the-clock care managers, access to licensed nurses and medication management are just a few of the many services senior communities provide to ensure your safety and to meet your needs.

  • Finally, we cannot forget the importance of socializing and making new friends at any age.  Even for individuals who value their privacy, there is still the comfort of having other people around.  If the event of a fall or medical emergency, help is always close at hand.

At MorningStar at RidgeGate, we provide all this and more. Our broad range of services and amenities include all-day dining, game room, theaters, fitness center, pool, interior park, wellness programs and activities to promote a healthy, engaged lifestyle. Please contact us or visit our website for more information about exceptional independent and assisted living in the Highlands Ranch, CO area.
